Evie is a sweet, well-behaved girl who quickly adjusted to her new life with her foster carers. The beagle in her means she loves her food, so vigilance is needed to keep her weight under control. She is currently on reduced rations to help her lose weight, and has a joint support supplement daily.
She is good in the car and on her lead. She loves her walks but don't be in a hurry: every blade of grass, tree and post requires her full inspection. She is good with adults and children, and dogs when out and about, but did show signs of food aggression with another dog in her former life. She is untested with cats.
In between naps, Evie likes to spend time outside, but will wait for permission to come back in, usually bearing a little gift such as a twig or a woodchip. She doesn't bark a lot, although noisey vehicles or cats in the back garden at night will get her attention, and she chases possums. She doesn't like the vacuum or thunder. Once she goes to bed at night, she doesn't disturb until she hears a member of the household up and about.
Evie is a friendly little girl who will be best suited to a home where she is the only pet.
(PS from Evie: Hi, my lovely carers say I snore, whatever that means, but it doesn't bother them so I hope it won't bother you!)
