About Ian
Ian here was born blessed with an amazing coat of hair, shiny, no split ends, an amazing off white color with a wig of red tufts to highlight his amazing eyes, his mother at the time was the happiest cat in history at the attractiveness of her wonderful new born baby, so soft and cuddly, vulnerable, his eyes closed, yet to open and reveal to him everything in the world had to offer.
As his eyes opened and he grew his mother came to the realisation that she had given birth to a cat who suffered from RGF... Yep, that's right resting grumpy face. Its a real thing, Ian is living proof.
But don't hold that against this boy, it is not his true nature, he is an extremely smoochy and affectionate boy who loves physical contact and being included in quiet nights on the couch, streaming Youtube watching funny cat videos and considering if he could be an influencer just like his feline cousin Grumpy Cat.
At 2 years of age, poor Ian has found himself in the shelter and hoping someone will overlook his grumpy face and see the amazing cat he truly is. Are you one who doesn't judge a book by his cover? Are you willing to look past the superficial?
If so, please reach out to BARC and arrange a time to come in and meet with Ian, he guarantees that his winning personality will ensure you take him home with you.
All jokes aside, Ian is an amazing cat, chatty and affectionate, looking for a home willing to give him the odd brush and assist with his breed specific grooming needs such as eyes and perhaps the occasional ear clean.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
