Hamilton is a big, handsome hunk of a cat. He may be large, but he has a cute round head that gives him the look of an oversized kitten! Hamilton also has the squeakiest little meow!

Hamilton is settling in well in his foster home. He is not a terribly cuddly boy and won't come and sit on your lap, but he does like to be where you are, and will lie at your feet or nearby. He is also quite playful. Hami lives in a home with multiple other cats as well as a small dog. He is completely fine with the dog although does tend to want to be Top Cat with the other felines and will stand in front of them daring them to stand up to him! He might therefore be best in a home with another submissive/peace-loving cat, or as the only cat in your home.

Hamilton will sometimes reach out with his paw if you try to stop him getting past you, or if you fuss him too long in a spot that irritates him, so is best adopted by a household without young children who might think they can handle him like a kitten rather than a big male cat. That said, he's quite okay with being picked up and cuddled for short periods and will purr when you do so. He loves lying on your bed too.

Hamilton uses the litter tray without problems and loves his biscuits, although to this point ignores any wet food offered to him! He does crave going outside so would love it if you had a cat run for him or a secure cat-proof yard or property so he can spend some daylight time outdoors. He is perfectly fine inside at night time.

If you like your cats big and with a bit of catt-itude, then perhaps handsome Hamilton is your man!

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, FIV/FeLV check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip (including transfer of ownership), and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
We will advise if Hamilton is available and if so put you in touch with his carer. If you arrange to meet him, we will email the adoption paperwork. After the meet you may commence a trial! Full Adoption Fee must be deposited into SAFE Bunbury bank account before trial starts. Cash not accepted.

We offer a two week trial to ensure Hamilton is the right fit for your home.
