About Jimmy
If you're looking for a dog that is just an all round good guy, meet Jimmy!
Like all Maggie's pets, Jimmy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
This handsome hound is truly a diamond in the rough, he is sweet beyond belief, friendly to humans and dogs a like and his joy is simply contagious. Jimmy enjoys getting out and about and going for a good daily adventure but just as much loves curling up beside you whilst you chill on the couch. He walks well on leash and has coped very well with busy inner city life.
He is currently being fostered in an apartment but we do feel Jimmy would thoroughly enjoy a bit more space to stretch his legs. We think Jim would enjoy having another dog in the home but this is not essential. A family around more often than not however is essential, Jimmy does suffer from a little bit of seperation anxiety and whilst this continues to improve in care, he will require a family that can set him up with a good routine and ease him into being left alone. Maggie's Rescue is committed to supporting Jimmy's adopter through this process.
Jimmy is a dog that is once in a lifetime, he wins over everyone he meets and the family that adopt Jim are going to be counting their lucky stars on the daily.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I would be okay with children 5 and up.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a good mix of action ready and chill couch potato.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am great with other dogs and whilst I haven't had much exposure to cats, I am happy to see them wander by without issue.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
