About Lulu
LOCAL ADOPTION TO THE NEWCASTLE AND SURROUNDS AREA ONLY !!!
Hi, my name is Lulu.
Im an active 11kg Terrier X who is between 1 to 2 years of age. My estimated DOB is 16.06.2021.
I recently came into the HHAR family after being found as a stray and then impounded at a pound.
I currently live with other dogs and cats however I'm not great with sharing spaces or my humans so I would prefer to be the only fur member of the family and have all the attention to myself.
Having an active family is a must for me. I walk well on a lead and halti combo and although I know im not great with dogs I see on walks (I promise I am trying and training really hard to rectify this) you can help me tackle my energy levels with other things like puzzle tricks, Kong's, lick mats and lots of mental stimulation.
I love my 2 legged family members so much that I stress when I know your not around. I'd love someone who can work on these anxieties with me but I'd be best suited to someone who works from home or retired. When my anxiety levels get a bit much, I like to take refuge in my crate where I can chill out and decompress. I spend my nights in my crate too (generally takes me about 40 mins to calm down) but once im settled I sleep through the night comfortably and I'm fully house trained.
When it comes to the human family members, I get along with any age really, im all about the attention after all but due to my energy levels I'd be best suited to a family who has dog savvy kids 10 years and above.
If you think im the gal for you, please reach out to the team at Helping Hearts.
They want to make sure they find the right furrever home for me and because of this, they will provide personalized support to my new family and a 4 week Good Manners Course through The Good Dog Newcastle (valued at $160.00) to ensure you have the contacts, tools and knowledge to help me throughout my life.
All my love, Lulu.
