About Ollie & Rigby Stripes
Ollie Stripes hasn't had the best start to life and was tormented by little humans. As a result, he does not like kids one little bit and has PTSD, which can occasionally manifest in defensive scratching and biting. Ollie has improved immensely in foster carer and is a beautiful snuggly boy when not charging around the cat proofed backyard with Rigby his besetie. Being with his best friend and sidekick Rigby has been so good for Ollie. While he's grey stripes rather than spots, Ollie is very bengal in his character and mannerisms. He'll yell at you for things... food, walkies, out, in. He jumps into the fridge to investigate and yells when removed. He'll sleep nose to nose with you, to make sure you're still breathing. He's not scared of water or getting wet. He's fearless, athletic and going to be a very large cat!
Rigby is a super chilled tabby smooch, no bengal here, just an adorable loving tabby moggie. Everything he does he does with 110% energy. He is a purr machine with the sweetest heart. He is great with other cats, his behaviour is very much determined by his surroundings and others around him. He loves attention and if you slightly deviate from him, he will let you know, usually with a head bop or a little nudge on your leg or a paw outreached. Loves a good snuggle when it's time for your bed, usually around your knees, he leaves the head region for Ollie to supurrvise.
Ollie & Rigby have been enjoying playing chase & catch in their foster carers cat proofed backyard. Both of them try to get out the front, only Ollie has been successful so far. His current favourite game is ""watch my foster carer chase me up and down the street""... so to give him enrichment and let him explore his environment safely, his carer has been taking him out for cat walks on a harness and long extendable lead. It's been working well, and they're going to start doing that with Rigby too. With patience and gentle encouraging exposure, these two could become cats that go to cafes and on hikes with you... they really are up for it!
Together these two chaps will ensure there is never a dull moment in your life. The boys love it best when they are hanging with their humans and each other. Their best situation would be a couple who never want children, love to go out and do things, and want to take their tabby partners in crime with them. Are you ready for Stripes gang to steal your heart? Submit an enquiry now and find out!
