About Lily
đ· Lily (white kitty with black eye) is the definition of a Angel. She has the most placid and calming nature. Lily enjoys snuggles and cuddling up to any family member at any given time!
She is a kitty that will happily snooze away all day and will try catch even the smallest bit of sun through the windows to lounge on. Lily is as sweet as pie and her personality is angelic.
She is a kitty who would never get a speeding ticket in her life and is the definition of a âperfect childâ.
Lily is amazing with my kids who are 7 and 2, and is a very social, human loving animal. She is always cuddled up to one of us, purring and kneading biscuits throughout the day. She is fun, cuddly and warm natured. If your looking for a loyal, affectionate furr-ever friend then you found her!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via shellys.place.rescue@gmail.com. Please tell us about the home you are able to offer including:
- number of adults living in the home
- number of children and their ages
- number and species of pets and their ages
- whether you rent or own your home and the property type (house, townhouse, unit)
- if you have approval to own pets in your home e.g. strata, rental agreement
- why you are looking to adopt
- will the animal be an inside pet, outside pet or both
- have you found a specific cat or kitten you would like to apply for.
Please remember to include contact information including a phone number.
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
