About Raia
Raia is a twenty month old Black German Shepherd who has come into care and is fully desexed, vaccinated and life time registered.
Currently in care at Ebenezer, NSW she is a bundle of love affection and would make a great scent dog or family companion.
Raia is an intelligent and loyal young girl who would be an ideal dog for an active couple or family, or an offsider for a single adult where she can shower them with love and snuggles.
Raia needs room to run and use up her young energy so a yard with shade and shelter is a must.
This young dog is so wanting a home where she can connect with her family and show how much love she can give to her humans.
Raia is a good car traveller is crate trained, and anything she does not already know she is quick to learn.
Raia is receiving one on one lead training with our Dog Trainer - Bear The Dog Behaviourist.
We want Raia to go to a home where she will be an integral family member. She is not suitable to go to a home with very young children as she is very energetic and (do we want to say something about being clumsy/goofy?).
She has not suited to go to a home with cats or pocket pets.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Raia will give in abundance when she connects and builds that trust with her new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Raia.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Raia”.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive to Oberon with your family and any dogs to meet Raia. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Raya is microchipped and vaccinated, desexed, life time registered.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
