Hi, my name is Bam Bam! My foster mum also calls me Bammy, Cheeky and Cheeky Monkey.

I have been one of the fortunate babies and was born into a safe and loving home. My mum (Lilly Pilly – she’s also looking for her forever home) came into care with five of my half-siblings after another of my half-brothers was rescued from danger by a lovely friend and he has now been adopted by her. A few weeks after arriving into care, it became apparent that mum was expecting us, so my half-siblings went to another lovely foster home so mum could have a little babymoon before we arrived.

I’m a pretty confident and active little character, very loving and happy to share my well-developed purr. I love cuddling up with my brothers and sisters and mum for a nap to recharge in between playing flat out and exploring. I am quite partial to curling up on foster-mum’s lap while she’s working, supervising her online meetings or choir rehearsals, or cuddling up on her big bed at night, even getting under the covers if there is room.

We have shared our foster home with several other cats and two cat-savvy dogs and met respectful humans of all ages, other than very young children. I have tried to make friends with all the other cats in our foster home, but a few of them are not very receptive to my attempts. I feel sad when that happens, but foster mum tells me not to take it personally, as some of them are seniors or just a little grumpy or unsure.

I love my food and like to try to race everyone else to our bowls at meal times to make sure I don’t miss out. Foster mum says it is unlikely I would ever miss out, but I just need to make sure. I’m sure you will understand. Sometimes I will give a little low grumble if anyone gets too close to my favourite foods (roast chicken, fried flake de-battered, or anything else extra special) or my favourite toy mousey. Otherwise, I’m pretty good at sharing and easy to get along with. I know how to use the kitty litter and haven’t shown any fussiness with the type of litter used either.

I would love a forever home with another feline friend to run around with, play with and cuddle up to in the cooler weather. I will need all the usual kitty things, too, including things I’m allowed to scratch and climb, cardboard boxes, toys to play with, chase and wrestle, and a cosy bed(s), of course.
