About Lilly-Pilly 😻
Lilly Pilly
Beautiful young mumma.
Hello, my name is Lilly Pilly! My foster mum usually calls me Lilly or Lill-Lill.
I first came in to care from off the streets with five of my older children after one of my boys was rescued from danger by a lovely friend and he is now living it up in a safe and loving home with our friend. A few weeks after arriving into care, it became apparent to the humans that I was expecting again, so my older kids eventually moved to another lovely foster home so I could have a little me-time and babymoon before the next babies arrived.
I’m a very sweet, gentle and loving young lady. I am a bit unsure of new humans and critters at first, but I just tend to be cautiously friendly and curious until I know they’re safe to be around. Foster mum says I was/am a very attentive and natural mum but now it’s time for me to find my own very special forever home. I am quite partial to finding a nice, quiet, sunny spot in the window, or a cosy, fluffy bed to curl up in between meals, and don’t mind still cuddling up with my babies, even enjoying the occasional wrestle and game of chasey with them.
I love to give head bumps to foster mum, and will put my front feet up on her legs for pats and cuddles if she is sitting or kneeling down, but I am respectful and will hang back if there are others vying for her attention all at once. I don’t mind being picked up or nursed for cuddles as long as I’m held close and feel secure and supported. Foster mum and I sometimes have chats too, and I’ll also give a lovely little chirp if I’m looking for anyone or asking a question.
We have shared our foster home with several other cats and two cat-savvy dogs and we have also met humans of all ages, other than very young children. I prefer the company of calm, gentle and respectful beings, much like myself, really.
I’m not fussy with food, and very good at sharing. Basically, I’m just a sweet, down to earth girl who is easy to get along with.
I would be happy in a forever home with another gentle furry resident for company, but would probably also be okay as an only fur child, provided you can guarantee me lots of love, cuddles, safety and protection from scary things. I will need all the usual kitty things, too, including things I’m allowed to scratch, cardboard boxes, toys to play with, chase and wrestle, and cosy beds, of course.
If you think you could be my purrfect match, and know that you could offer me a safe and loving home to grow old in, please contact my friends at Heart & Soul Rescue.
