About Sunday
Introducing SUNDAY, one of 10 absolutely adorable Border Collie mix puppies from the Island Litter.
They were born on 19 April 2022 to their lovely mum, Morgan, a young tan and white, short-haired border collie with amber eyes. Morgan's photo forms part of Sunday's profile. We think dad was a border collie mix, too.
Little Sunday is reserved but friendly. More respectful and not as exuberant as some of her littermates, she didn't jump all over the visiting grandchildren. She's alert, inquisitive and intelligent. More than anything, she's cuddly and very smoochy. She loves a good cuddle on the lap and is happy to receive all the attention that comes her way. According to her foster mum, she is destined to be a loyal and devoted canine companion for some lucky person or family.
Sunday loves other dogs and is good with the resident cats.
Border Collies can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They are clever, even-tempered and eager to please, making them a good choice for a family pet. They get along well with children and other pets, particularly when introduced from an early age.
The secret to bringing the best out in a border collie is to keep her occupied and well loved.
A BC's greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while her greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.
BCs are extremely loyal dogs and love their humans. Wherever their family is, that's where they want to be too - whether that's out in a boat, in the back of a car, going for a walk, training for agility competitions or herding, or just watching television in the evening.
To be happy and content, Sunday will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise, mental stimulation and play. As always, secure fencing is a must.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Sunday to play with. Previous breed experience will be highly regarded.
If you are interested in meeting this lovely pup and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Sunday's adoption fee is $795. She has had two vaccinations and is microchipped. Her adoption fee includes desexing when age appropriate.
Sunday is available for interstate adoption, but applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Q. to meet her.
