About Ticks
Please meet TICKS, a sweet-natured, energetic and affectionate girl born on 15 October 2021. Thought to be a Husky x English Staffy, she is fine-boned and muscular. She weighs just 17.3 kgs.
Ticks is accustomed to being an integral part of a family and living inside and outside. She loves to snuggle on the couch with her humans and thinks she is a lap dog! She is great with kids.
She knows her basic commands - sit, stay, drop - and walks well on a lead even if dogs behind fences are barking at her as she walks by. Clever and eager to please, she is highly trainable and is still to reach her full potential.
Ticks is very dog-friendly. She is gentle with the puppies in her foster home, but loves the rough and tumble of play with the adult dogs. She's a water baby and enjoys doggie pools and the beach.
She would be most content in a home with space and at least one other compatible dog, so they can romp and play to their heart's content.
Ticks rarely barks and does not jump fences but, as always, secure fencing is essential.
Her adoption fee is $650 and she is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
If you are interested in meeting Ticks, please complete the online application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
She lives in Warwick, Queensland and is available for interstate adoption. A virtual meet and greet may be offered to approved applicants.
