About Millie - Grace ~ 5mo Jack R (On Trial 16/7/22)
Are you looking for a big personality in a small package?
Meet Millie Grace the 5month old female Jack Russell Terrier who is on the search for her perfect match.
Millie Grace is incredibly playful and just loves to spend time playing with her toys (alllllll the toys) but most especially a ball. She is already showing star potential as a professional fetch player. Maybe she was a little inspired by her visit with the Knights recently as you will see in her profile pictures.
After having a big play session Millie Grace loves to have a snuggle next to you or on your lap. When Millie isn't napping with you she likes to nap in her warm cozy crate as she is still learning to toilet train and this is the best way she has found to learn a routine and have less accidents. A home where she can have consistency and patience with her will see her succeed so that she can spend lots of inside time in her forever home.
Being a Jack Russell, Millie Grace will need daily exercise and stimulation so she would love an active home who would love taking her on adventures. As she is so young and not yet settled into a home Millie has missed out on lead training as well as some basic manners that all puppies need. Time and commitment to training and puppy school will be given higher consideration to help her be a calm and confident adult dog as well as an owner who has knowledge of the traits and needs of a Jack Russell Terrier.
Millie would love to find a family where she has human or dog company during the day or able to come out with you on your errands as she thinks everything you do is interesting. This makes being welcomed inside also a must in her forever home.
Millie is currently living with a large breed senior dog and 2 young children and is comfortable in their company however she is a typical puppy chewer so would be better suited to dog savvy children 5 years and over. She is untested with cats or pocket pets.
Millie Grace has been vet checked and been found to be in good health. The vet did notice a slight bend in her front legs which is not untypical of her breed. This is not causing her any discomfort but may lead to arthritis in her senior years.
As Millie Grace is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when she is approximately 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications
For more information or to meet Millie Grace, please contact his foster
carer on their email hgrescue@outlook.com.
Millie Grace is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW. Millie Grace's adoption fee is $800 which includes all up to date vet work. This means it will cover desexing, vaccination, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipping.
