Zoro ~ 8mo Silky X Maltese(On Trial 01/07/22)

Zoro is an 8 month old male Silky/Maltese cross and weighs in at 9.5kg. He is charming and super friendly with a gentle nature that will win you over immediately.

He presently shares our home with a very gentle 2 year old female dog, a little bigger than him, where they enjoy sharing beds and toys, going for walks and playing together. He also loves to tag along with our sons Border Collie who visits often and joins us on long beach walks.

He is friendly, loyal and intelligent, and only wants to be with, and please his owners,. He thrives on affection and positive, gentle conversation, and he is welcoming of strangers and other dogs.

He responds well to training and like most puppies this age, he needs interesting toys to play and chew on and activities and training to prevent unwanted behaviour. He is very people oriented and will not thrive if left home alone for long periods of time.

He is an indoor dog and has become housetrained in only a few days. He sleeps inside in his crate, and accesses outside via our dog-door flap. I wash him in my laundry tub.

Zoro will come when called, sit for his dinner, and is learning to sit before crossing the road. He travels well in the car, secured on our hammock on the back seat with the other dogs.

He is an absolute pleasure to have in our home. He is easy going and is happy to keep you company all day after enjoying his morning and afternoon walks.

Zoro is the perfect companion for an active/busy family with older children who would be willing to give him all his necessary requirements and continue his training. This little boy will return the love and devotion in bucket loads and will become an awesome part of your family. He is not the breed for you if you expect him to sit on the couch all day.

Zoro’s adoption fee is $800 which includes all up to date vet work. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. Zoro is in foster care at Valentine, Lake Macquarie, and is available for interstate adoption subject to strict approval.
