About Trigga
TRIGGA
Presenting the ever-majestic loving Trigga. He is a Mastiff x weighing in roughly at 31 kilos so not a big boy
Trigga is extremely loyal, a great cuddler and very devoted to you. He is also very gentle, and since arriving and staying with his foster family has opened up to us. Trigga like all fur babies, needs love and he will give it back to you tenfold.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE APPLIED
⢠Travelling in the car â
Like most dogs Trigga loves the breeze on his face. Trigga has no trouble getting in and out of a car.
Trigga will sit qwerty once he is handedness in
⢠Food â
While staying with us Trigga has been eating dry kibble only as he was a bit overweight . He can be a little fussy and once you mix an egg in or something wet he will happlity eat his dinner
⢠Outside â
Trigga doesnât mind being outside. He loves to run around in the yard. Has not mastered fetch though he will go for the ball, just not return it to you. He has had severalâKongâ toys to play with as well. He does enjoy basking in the sun. Of course, if someone is out there playing with him you will have a pal for life. Trigga is not very keen on any squeaky toys and can become stressed with the sound of them. While Trigga has been staying with us, he has been able to go in and out whenever he needed to or wanted to.
He is happy to be left home alone while his family are out
⢠Visitors â
Trigga has been very friendly to visitors who have come over. Having a sniff and then showing off those big, beautiful eyes just for a pat. He enjoys the company of all he meets
⢠Independence â
While for most part Trigga has had human company. On the odd days when he was alone, he did cry for a small amount of time, until he settled down. We have not heard Trigga bark once in the time we have been caring for him.
⢠Walks â lead experience. Trigga loves his walks and could go on and on. So, the longer the better. Trigga can pull on the lead quite a bit and will need more training to stop this. Over all he is good on lead and enjoys a mice stroll around the neighbourhood
⢠Obedience. We have had no trouble with Trigga the whole time he has been with us. We just have to say his name and he knows what we want. Whether it is to come to us or stop what he is doing. He loves to please and gets great pleasure from rewards that are pats or cuddles. He understands the basics
⢠Inside Trigga is a perfect gentleman. Not destructive, house trained. Loves to cuddle up close. Does forget that he is not a lap dog and will try to get up on your lap. If you start patting him, he will not let you stop and will keep nudging you to keep going or try to wiggle his way under your hand to get his pats. Trigga craves human contact sitting if not on top of you or extremely close to you that at least some of his body is always touching you.
⢠Temperament - Dog socialising, cat, small animals- While we donât have any other pets in our house, Trigga was temperament tested with a medium to large dog and was very excited to meet her. He showed this by his friendly boisterous behaviour, jumping all around her and pulling on the lead to get close to her and of course, the usual sniff greeting that dogs do. While going on our walks whenever Trigga has come close to a small dog he gets very tense and starts to shake, therefore we would recommend no small dogs or cats in the house with him. Trigga seemingly would not be good with small dogs or cats based on the excitement.
⢠Sleeping habits- Trigga sleeps like a log. He loves to cuddle up with you on the bed and will keep you warm all night. But donât get up during the night.
⢠Toilet training- Trigga is completely house trained. While staying with us Trigga has been able to go in and out as he has, please. If the door is closed, he will come and let you know he needs to go out.
⢠Ideal Home â We feel Triggaâs could blend into almost any type of home. He's not a huge active boy and will happlity laze about
He is happy to be an only dog and does not require a huge yard as long as he is taken on a daily walk
He's a quiet boy so will not disturb the neighbourhood
We feel he would be fine with children and if another dog in residence we would see a family of similar size who is well socialised
