About Bailey
Bailey is a 5 year old Poodle x who is looking for a new home without children. Bailey can suffer from some anxiety and finds an active busy lifestyle stressful
His current family have come to the sad decision that Bailey needs a home where he can be free to be himself and having a toddler in the house makes that sometimes tricky.
Bailey also has an resource guarding issue so he needs a family willing to work with him and understand his complex behaviours
Baily is a sweet loving dog who loves his bed /crate and is happy spending time by himself. He doesnt suffer from seperation anxiety and sleeps happily in his own room .
Bailey also needs a groomer with experience with anxious dogs or a home groomer willing to spend the time themselves to clip and bath him.
A home with a happy calm older dog would help . Excitable dogs can upset Bailey. We dont know how he would be with cats as he hasnt lived with any but a friendly calm cat may be fine Poodle experience would be helpful . Bailey isnt suitable as a first dog or for an apartment as he does love being in the garden
If you would like to express interest in giving Bailey a home please contact us on 02 49305110 or patersonvalleydr@gmail.com with any questions
Bailey is in foster care in Hinton near Maitland
Medical notes
Bailey is currently on some anxiety medication (Lovan) and could potentially be weaned off it if his situation allows for that
Adoption details
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY PLEASE FILL OUT THE ADOPTION FORM VIA THIS LINK: https://bit.ly/35pENH8
We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
