ABOUT INKY

Hi, My name is Inky. Although I am only still quite young, a lot has already happened to me, and I am hoping my forever family is reading this, so I can finally settle down in my own home. My brother and I were found together in Mackay by power company employees as abandoned babies, and taken to the pound, where we were rescued by Little Legs from death row. We were very frightened of people at first, but we eventually started to trust them and relax.
My brother, Smudge, has now been adopted and is happy in his forever home, so now it's my turn. I am a very handsome boy, who might be a little timid when we meet, but once I am comfortable in my environment and with my humans, I am very affectionate and loving.
I am good with other cats and have spent time with dogs, too, but I think I love humans the most now. I really love cuddling up beside them on the couch or on the bed and just smooching. I am a big boy now (I enjoy my food), but when I'm not smooching, I still like to play, and I am quite good at playing gently. I have never met children, but would probably be best suited to a quiet home with older children or adults, as I can still get a fright easily, due to my scary background.
My forever family will need to be patient and give me some time to settle, but once I do, they will be smothered with love and affection. I can't wait to meet them. When we meet, but with time and consistent gentle handling I will always be a loving friend.
