Brayden is a little dynamo seeking to be the only pet in your life for now. It is evident he missed out on key socialisation and learning so needs to build up his skill set before being around other animals on a regular basis. With time, patience and the right teacher he will no doubt become a community favourite - but he needs help to get there first and it won't happen overnight.

He has been exploring outside of his comfort bubble and gets overwhelmed, he wants to chase passing cars, will pull you every which way on lead, and pants with anxiety when he is unsure of something (which is most things). He needs continued desensitisation to the outdoor world so he can learn how to be calm in new environments. He loves meeting new people and will jump all over them.

Whilst not quite a lap dog per se, he does like to curl up close to you and follow you about. He does stress when his humans leave but has been building up independence and will need to continue this. If you work from home he will happily chill at your feet, munch on a goats horn and occasionally pull apart a toy. Being with you is his happy place.

Brayden has been in care with other dogs and cats and based off his interactions with them an only pet home is in his best interests. This doesn't rule out that he could live with another dog down the track, but he has a long way to go before that could happen. He is far too interested in the cats for any to be considered in his new home. He is much calmer and more receptive to training as a one on one.
