About Michi
Micha is a sweet little chi mix who had been found in bushland. Micha has spent her impound time under duty of care with one of our foster carers and her own dog.
Micha is dog friendly, crate trained although would prefer to be a bed or lap warmer. Micha is still quite playful with a dog her size for a 9 year old. Although she gets along fine with larger dogs, she does show nervousness. We would prefer if she was to live with another dog, its one of her size. This little poppet responds to her name, walks well on lead and eats food like a lady should.
Micha's heart is not showing any problems and her overall health is good. Her teeth are being assessed by our vets to see if they need to be removed or just cleaned (before she leaves our care).
Whilst in our care, she has had dog savvy children over 5 visit and she has responded well. We have noticed that she has a fear of men. This has happened on walks and within her foster home. Once introduced, she accepted them nicely.
Although Micha is 9 we are looking for a home that will be able to keep her for the rest of her life, which is a possibility of 9 years.
Micha needs a home where she will be welcomed inside and go outside at her will, a home where she can leave her hair on furniture and possibly your bed. Although Micha can be home alone, we would prefer a person that can take her on outings of leave her for short periods of time.
