About Cindy
Little Miss Cindy is a sweet-tempered and very playful Staffordshire Bull Terrier pup that loves being around children. She was born on 17 October 2021.
Typically sturdy, short and muscular, Cindy weighs 16.7 kgs. We can see no sign of any other breed than Staffy in her.
Affectionate, protective and intelligent, Cindy has a kind and gentle nature and is a people pleaser through and through. In the space of a few days, she has become her foster mum's shadow and delights in fussing over the visiting grandchildren. Concerned that the toddler would hurt himself climbing the stairs, she blocked his passage and gently herded him back onto the lawn.
This little girl would make a doting and protective family pet. She loves being around her humans during the day and enjoys a cuddle on the lap in front of TV at night.
Cindy is fully house-trained and is not a barker. In fact, her foster mum says that Cindy's definitely not a guard dog and warmly greets whoever comes to the door. She's well-mannered and doesn't jump up on people.
Clever and eager to please, she has very good recall and will respond to verbal commands, such as "no" and "don't". She is still learning to sit and stay. Although she hasn't received any lead-training yet, she has a natural tendency to walk by her human's side.
In the words of her foster mum, "anyone who adopts Cindy will get the most loyal, loving and affectionate dog". Her recent experience at her foster home shows that with love, affection and reassurance, she will quickly settle into her forever home.
Cindy is not currently living with another dog, but being just a pup, we have no doubt she'd get on well with other dogs. She's fascinated by the old cats in her foster home and has shown no aggression towards them, despite their hissing! In fact, her foster mum says Cindy doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Cindy to play with. Previous breed experience will be highly regarded.
