About Feliks (meaning "lucky")
Feliks is a beautiful young Russian Blue x , who was surrendered to us after his owner decided she could no longer have a cat.
Feliks was very scared of the rough toddlers he lived with, but he's very happy to live with sweet, gentle and calm people.
Feliks carer says "he is very smoochy in the morning, and quite content to snuggle in on the bed for chin and cheek scratches and gives you gentle headbutts for you to give more scratches when you stop."
Feliks has some special requirements for his forever home:
- A family who has no small/children under the age of 12 years old, who are calm around him.
-A lovely climbing scratch post and some fun hidey holes around, so he can have a little bit of peace and quiet when he wishes :)
-a sunny spot to spend his days rolling around purring an enjoying the warmth :)
Medical notes
Feliks is at present, having Hills Urinary C/D or Royal Canine Urinary. He has had a couple of urinary tract infections but since starting this food everything has been perfect. He also loves it!
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Catherine, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
