About Octane
Hi, I’m octane! I came into waggin tails care with my brothers after being abandoned in a box!
My foster mum says I’m a very shy and quiet boy. I am in care with several other cats, and get along quite well with them. I am also in care with a young toddler, and whilst I love her attention and snacks she gives me, I get frightened very easily when she yells and screams.
I would be best suited to a quiet household, with children over 5. I would also love to go live with a confident and outgoing cat who can help me continue to gain confidence!
I am a bit scared of new people and cuddles, but once I start to get to know you, I don’t mind cuddles. I especially love to cuddle into your shoulder, I feel safe and can be held like that for hours!
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
