About Noughts
Poor Noughts is a nearly 15-year-old sweetheart who has endured more than his fair share of hardship. Originally found during the horrific floods in NSW, his home was underwater, and he was in a sickly state. Despite being adopted, he was returned through no fault of his own. Throughout his life, Noughts has battled multiple health challenges, but he is now, finally, well and living in a doting foster home while he awaits his next shot at a forever home.
Noughts has lived with other cats previously and is currently in foster care with another feline, indicating he may integrate nicely into a multi-kitty household. In just a few weeks, he settled into his foster home and made himself comfortable. Despite his age, Noughts still loves doing zoomies around the house but remains polite with the other kitty, giving them space and never being bothersome.
Once he warms up to you, Noughts is highly affectionate, especially loving a good chin scratch. He enjoys cozy nights in, curling up next to you on the lounge, and has a funny chirp that will bring a smile to your face. An avid nap enthusiast, Noughts spends the majority of his time resting and will greet new people in the home only to return to his slumber.
Due to his laid-back temperament, Noughts could live with children of all ages as long as they respect his age and could coexist with other docile animals. Given his age and past medical concerns, Noughts should live indoors only. He is a resilient and loving cat who, despite everything, is ready to find a forever home where he can spend his golden years in comfort and peace.
Note: This cat is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another cat.
