About Nina
Nina is looking for an adults only, quiet home with a confident and social dog that she can play.
Hello I am Nina and I'm adorable.
I am a little 2.5 y.o female Maltese cross with gorgeous grey and white curls and soft floppy ears. But please don't just judge me on my super sweet looks. I have so much more to offer! Here are just a few of my many good points:
1. I am very well behaved and have manners
2. I'm inquisitive, clever and like to learn new things
3. I'm fun, sweet and gentle
4. I love going on walks
5. I love my treats
6. I love my toy bunny
If you like all these things, you might be my furever home!
I am nervous when I first meet people, so I might be nervous when I meet you. I would like you to ask consent before pats and I might need some space. I also prefer not being carried in your arms.
Busy households would be too much for me. If your household is calm, I will feel comfortable and love spending lots of quality time with you.
I'm snuggly and will love curling up next to you on the couch. This makes it easy for you to give me lots of pats which you will love as much as me as my hair is super soft.
I also love playing with other gentle dogs and if you happen to have a lovely dog who likes to play chasy as much as I do and is happy to share their humans and home, I could be your girl. Or, if you don't have a dog but you do like going on walks most days, you could be my human.
If you like all my good points and can respect my space so I can be comfortable to be my full adorable self, we can be best friends and become family.
I've been told I am pure joy and delightful. I think that means that once you get to know me, I will make you smile and fill your heart every day!
Nina is currently on some behaviour medication to help her feel more secure in the world and before coming to us, Nina had a previous surgery to repair her hip. Potential adopters will have the ability to speak to our vet team about this.
