Cruiser

This very handsome chap is CRUISER, a gentle and affectionate Irish Wolfhound x Red Kelpie born on 6 December 2018.

He has the body, head-shape, coat texture and elegant bearing of a Wolfie and the gorgeous colouring of a red Kelpie. His beautiful amber eyes complete a very attractive canine package.

At 27 kgs, Cruiser's not as big as you might expect a Wolfie mix to be.

He's a very friendly and easy-going boy and would make a delightful companion or family pet. He's never met a human he doesn't love and is great with kids, though maybe a little large for the under 5's.

He's currently living very happily with three other dogs. However, he's not keen on cats, chickens or horses.

Clever and eager to please, Cruiser is a well-mannered dog. He sits on command and, although he loves his tucker, he knows he has to wait until he's invited to eat. His recall is very good and he doesn't jump up on humans. He's pretty good on a lead and used to go jogging with his former owner.

Well past the puppy stage, Cruiser's exercise needs are moderate. He enjoys a good walk or a play in the backyard, but is content to lie around in the sun for much of the day.

He is accustomed to living outside, but like most dogs, he'd probably enjoy being an inside-outside dog.

Cruiser's adoption fee is $550 and he is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Cruiser lives in Warwick, Queensland but is available for interstate adoption.
