Dear sweet Kudo is a sensitive boy who needs someone home A LOT. He hates to be left alone and will require someone retired or working from home. When he has his person around he is fine and normal and happy. But when left alone he exhibits unwanted behaviours, steals things, and will snap at your hand like it’s a game. For this reason we say no small kids, over 15 years old. And people who are mature and savvy enough to understand his behaviour and work with a trainer. Ideally you’ll be home all the time or take him for a drive with you. Kudo is a sweet loving dog, but has developed some unwanted behaviours that need work and training.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THE PROFILE ABOVE
PLEASE ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE DOG IN YOUR APPLICATION
YOU WILL NEED TO INCLUDE YOUR TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, RESILIENCE, ABILITY TO COPE WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH.
Addressing the above is the only way to get an interview and meeting. Anything else will be deleted. Because we will get a lot of applications from people who haven’t read the info and applying because of his breed.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
