About Charlie
Hey there! Charlie is my name, and I am the sweetest baby that ever walked this planet!! I love nothing more than to eat food, snuggle up to you, eat food, adventure around the house, eat food, eat food, and then nap! Did I mention I like to eat food?! I am quite the little piglet! Well, I say little, but my foster mumma seems to call me her big fat baby?! I'm not sure why....
I haven't had the greatest start to life. I came in to a pound at only 7 weeks old, and was taken in and loved by my previous foster mumma, who fed me well, and socialised me, and taught me that the world isn't too scary! Well, looking at me now, you wouldn't think I had a rough start, because I am a smoochy baby, that loves cradling over your shoulder for snuggles! And my purring, is like a chainsaw, once I get started!!
I've come a long way, and whilst I have loved both of my foster mummas, it definetely is time for me to find our new furever home!! I want to shower you with lots of snuggles in bed, and endless purrs - provided you keep my food bowl full!
I have been in a foster home with other cats, and I don't mind them, as long as they are nice to me! I think, because of my size, they think I'm going to hurt or eat them, but once they realize I am a gentle giant, they use me as a snuggle buddy! I have been around dogs as well, but I'm not the greatest fan of them! They kind smell funny and their meow doesn't sound like mine?? But I suppose I could grow to like the right dog? One that is quiet and won't annoy me perhaps? And won't eat my food, of course!
I have met a few small children, but they were very well behaved and respectful of me, and I did like them, but I think that I might prefer older kids, as long as they aren't too noisy and scary?
I will need to be an indoor only cat, as I don't want to go missing outside, and I have a little pink nose that I don't want to get burnt! I guess a secure outdoor cat enclosure could be ok, as long as it has plenty of shade, and I'm not out there in the sun!

Adoption details
If interested in an animal that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet. Depending on the requirements of the animal, a house/property inspection may be required. It is a requirement that any dogs being adopted into a pre-existing dog home, will need to have a meet and greet with the dogs, to ensure they are a good match.
If approved for adoption, a mutually convenient time will be arranged, to complete the adoption paperwork. A trial adoption can be offered under certain circumstances if required, but will not be an option for every animal. It is at the discretion of Fin, Furred N Feathered, if this is an option. If you would like a trial adoption of 2 weeks, please speak to us! The adoption fee will need to be paid in full, before a trial adoption can take place.
If not approved for adoption, we are more than happy to have a chat with you, why you were not successful for that animal, to see if we can help you find your perfect family member!
**Please note: As we are very busy people, working full time jobs, and taking care of all our lovely animals (our most important and rewarding job!!), we require all interested people fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
