About Jack DL2867
Jack is absolutely gorgeous, great company, and a pleasure to have around the house.
Jack is an inside dog; he goes outside to do his business and trot around the garden for a while, he'll chase birds away and if there is any noise around he will bark, but stops once you bring him in. He prefers to be indoors with you.
He looks particularly stylish in his little jackets and they are a must to keep him warm, as he does feel the cold. He also loves to snuggle up to you on the couch, he is quite the expert at snuggles.
Jack loves laying in the sun when it comes into the lounge room. In fact, he moves his bed around the lounge room as the sun moves to make sure he is comfortable, all whilst enjoying the rays of sunshine.
He loves the ball and can be seen walking around with it in his mouth. He does drop it so you can throw it for him to chase, but he isn't obsessed with it. Jack also enjoys playing with his other toys during the day. He's such a bouncy, happy boy, you'd never guess he was 10!
Jack enjoys his walks around the neighbourhood, he likes sniffing everything and leaving his mark for other dogs to sniff. He's not a fan of big dogs and will bark at them when he sees them. He doesn't like cats at all, either.
If another dog in the neighbourhood barks, Jack will respond. We are still working on teaching him to stop. If someone dares to approach the front door, he will be very vocal letting them know there is a dog in the house! If it's an invited visitor, he will stop after having a sniff. Jack prefers ladies and can be a bit wary of men; he warms up to some males, but not always.
Jack is okay being left at home inside while you go out for a while. He will nap until you arrive home to dote on him again. He is ok as the only dog, though he's friendly with small dogs too and we think he'd be happy with another little dog for company.
At the end of a long day, Jack likes to curl up on your bed with you. He either lays at your feet/legs or next to you. At 3.5kg, he's so small, you hardly know he's there!
If you'd love to welcome Jack into your home, email DFL today to apply.
Medical notes
Jack has a dental booked before he goes off to his new home.
