About Sparky
Please note: Sparky is not suitable to live with children of any age.
Sparky is a very special handsome man seeking a special home.
He has lots of love and affection to give.
He loves nothing more than a cuddle near you on the couch to end the day.
Sparky is great in the car, housetrained, recall is good, walks great on leash and just loves to get out for an explore and a sniff.
He gets along with all dogs big and small.
He has the most beautiful smiley face and a very happy waggy tail.
Sparky does have some quirks that cause him to need a special home.
He has come a long way from being very scared of everyone, he can now accept that most people are not here to hurt him.
However, he still is not 100% comfortable with change or new people and if not introduced correctly he will bark and lunge.
It's mostly men he is nervous about, high vis vests/clothing sets him off every time.
The other big issue is that he absolutely cannot be near children under 16.
Sparky needs a quiet and secure home, with a doggy friend/ friends, preferably with an experienced dog handler, (he is a big dog) or on acreage where he doesn't have to go out into the scary world and not too many visitors come, and absolutely no visiting children.
Sadly he has been abandoned over and over….and at seven years of age, he needs to have a peaceful retirement home where he can lavish all that affection he has on someone.
Please only apply if you are experienced and fit the necessary criteria for him.
