About Evie
*In foster care in Eastlakes, Sydney*
Evie is an irresistible bundle of fur with so much love to give! This gorgeous Maltese/Shih Tzu/poodle pup adores playtime and cuddles, especially if she thinks she can get away with a sneaky finger chew :)
A smart and curious girl, Evie is quick to learn - she's adapted to crate training, is mostly toilet trained (with only the occasional accident), and loves to fetch and play ball. She's quite the adventure-seeker and is always trotting off to investigate the smallest noise!
Evie's special quirk is stealing her foster carer's socks and slippers, running off with them to the other end of the house and promptly bunking down on them for a nap.
Like all Maggie's pets, Evie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I love people and other pets so much - so although I can be left alone and am quite happy to snooze in my pen when my foster carers are out, I really do prefer to have lots of company and attention. Any household where I'll be treated like a member of the family would be fantastic!
I also enjoy being outside in the fresh air, running and rolling around on the grass, so a backyard or garden would be a real bonus too.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm best described as a cross between a furry rocket and a sleeping door mat!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but because of my gentle temperament I'm likely to be well suited to a family home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I follow my canine foster brother around like a super fan, so I think I'd enjoy having a doggy pal-in-residence! I haven't had the chance to meet any cats at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
