Meet Thumper, a 3-year-old Staffy X Pug whose excitement for life is evident from the moment you meet him. If you’re looking for a companion, exercise buddy, and entertainment provider all in one then Thumper is the dog for you!

Thumper is a funny, sometimes clumsy & very inquisitive boy. He has bucket loads of happiness which he spreads everywhere he goes. This super outgoing and energetic young boy is eager to please, and just the most fun to be around.

Thumper is an active and healthy dog. He requires a heightened amount of physical and mental stimulation to ensure he remains happy and healthy as he transitions into his new life with you. He's super excited with anything fun such as toys and daily walks/adventures with his humans. He is toilet trained, loves sleeping in his crate, and knows basic commands like sit & stay. He is currently working on controlling his excitement when he first sees you in the morning or after work meaning his training will need to be ongoing in his forever home but is made much easier due to his pure love for all things food.

Thumper loves being outside and sunbaking so would prefer a home with a backyard for him to explore and the option to come inside when his humans are at home. He will need 5-6ft secure colourbond or similar fencing with no small holes or gaps. He will not suit rural settings, or homes with short fencing.

Thumper would be suited to families with children over 12 as he likes to show his excitement by jumping up and saying hello, this is being worked on in his foster home, however for now he is best suited to older family members. Thumper loves other dogs and although there are no other dogs in his foster home we think he would be fine with another dog who has similar energy levels. We will do a couple of meet and greets to ensure Thumper and your current fur family member will be the best of friends.

Thumper’s adoption fee is $500 which includes all up-to-date vet work. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea/worm treatment. Thumper is located in the Newcastle NSW Region and is available for interstate adoption subject to strict approval.
