My name is Chunky Doug and I LOVE to cuddle! Looking for my forever home where I can spend most of my day with my people and even a furry friend.

True to my staffy nature, I have a lot of energy but then again I also just love lots of cuddles on the couch sometimes.

I’m learning really quick and my biggest motivator is praise, pats and cuddles. I love attention!

I’ve met lots of different dogs in my foster house. My foster mum thinks I get on really well with most dogs but she has to remind me to be gentle sometimes and I’m learning to tone down my excitement to have good manners. I sometimes want to show my dominance if challenged but quickly take cues from my people and a slow introduction helps me stay calm. I especially love my foster sister (12 month ridgeback/mastiff) and play all day, everyday!

I’m house trained, walk well on a leash, crate trained and have learnt so many house manners! I’m the goodest boy!! I do love children but I am still learning not to jump so only dog savvy/ older kids. No cats or pocket pets in my forever home please.

I find it hard when my people leave me at home alone. I get a bit anxious but I’m slowly learning my people come back. So I hope someone will be home most of the time with me, or have the patience to allow me to adjust to being left in a secure yard or crated to keep me safe while home alone.
