About Bosco
IMPORTANT
If you send us an adoption inquiry please check your spam folder for our response
Bosco is a sweet, goofy boy and his favourite thing in the world is getting pats and belly rubs. He is happy to follow his humans around the house help with whatever they are doing.
He very smart and easy to train when you have some food. He knows to sit, stay and wait for his food, and will (usually) go to his bed when asked.
He will fetch when he is in the mood and sometimes brings it back. He likes toys that you can put treats in, and soft toys so he can pull the stuffing out. He loves stealing your socks but it seems he does it for attention and doesn’t chew them.
He sleeps inside and never hear a peep from him during the night. He is toilet trained and when left inside, he will take himself out the doggy door when he needs to.
His crate is outside and during the day you will find him sitting on top of his crate, sometimes with an old bone!
While in foster care, he was left inside while no one was home and would happily sit on the couch while we were out and could let himself out if needed. If left outside he is happy to sniff, sleep on his crate or chew a bone.
He walks well on the lead and loves to meet other dogs and humans. He will often sit very nicely and wait for people to approach him for a pat.
NOTE: Bosco is not suitable for a home with other pets as he does get jealous easily and will try and dominate a smaller or less dominant pet.
He also tends to choose one human and may try to protect them from other family members in the home. This behaviour can be managed with consistent training and strong leadership qualities from his owner.A single person home without other pets would be his ideal home.
If you are interested in meeting our boy then please send an email to farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com and request an adoption application form.
