Chloe

Chloe is an eclectus parrot, who is looking for a wonderful new home. She takes a while to gain trust, and seems to prefer the company of people who have experience with birds already. Chloe knows several words (we're hearing new tunes and words all the time), which can be unsettling given she can change to sound like a male or female human (be prepared to waste time looking around for a non-existent intruder). Chloe loves her fruit and veggies, and while at the shelter has shown to be a quiet and thoughtful bird, not prone to loud screeching. Chloe is happy to be carried around. To those she's closest to, she enjoys pats. Other humans she's quite comfortable being around, but will bite if they try to force contact.

Chloe needs a dedicated owner, who wants to spend time with her every day. A life full of enrichment is necessary, she's a smart girl who likes to learn. This is not a cheap pet, please do your research on what these birds usually go for, their care, housing needs, daily nutritional needs, etc. Our shelter is here to place her in a knowledgeable home, and ensure you are the right person for Chloe. She deserves her next home to be a forever home.
