About Flare
Hello!!!!!. My name is Flare and I am looking for my forever home. Maybe you can help?.
So a little about me....
I came into foster care with A Mini Rescue when I was a very tiny kitten at just 3 weeks of age. I was lucky because I was fostered with my 5 other brothers and sisters and so we have been able to grow up together. My foster mum was worried about me when I arrived because i was the baby of the litter and so tiny, but look at me now at 6 months old! My foster family call me their little Fennec Fox as I have little tufts of fur at the tips of my ears, a very fluffy tail and I am the same colour as champagne.
I love to "help" make your beds....the air that gets in doonah covers when they are shaken is so much fun to try and catch! I also enjoy trying to pounce my siblings under the doonah...and your feet.
Whilst Im not the biggest, I am the bravest of my litter, and I love to be up high to see whats going on. You can usually find me on top of the microwave.
I am an independent girl and can be a bit shy with new people, but once I know you I will rub your legs and be waiting for you to come home, especially if you're the one that feeds me!. I like to be the one who comes to you for love and you will know i want attention because you can hear me purring from a mile away!. I enjoy nice comfy beds in the sunshine and will sleep by your feet in bed at night time.
I dont mind gentle children but not ones who chase me and try to pick me up. I have trained my mini humans at my foster home to understand me.
I am happy with cats of all ages as my foster family has 10 cats including me. They also have 2 big dogs who I love to talk to through the glass windows, but not really face to face. Im sure I could adjust with gentle cat friendly ones though.
I am happy to be on my own, but would also fit into a family with other pets...yes Im a versatile girl.
I have had my desexing and microchipping done, so Im all ready to go! My foster family lives near Redland Bay and would love to hear from you. Please call soon.
