About Betty
Little Betty has begun the search for a forever family!
This cutie is approximately 4 months old, and adores snuggles and kisses.
She is super playful and just adores the attention :) She would love to find herself a family that can take her out and about on lots of fun adventures!
Betty would suit a wide range of family homes, including other pets.
Betty is a very friendly and social little lady and just loves to explore and interact with everyone! She would greatly benefit from someone who is able to teach her all of the good girl manners too.
Betty will go to her new family desexed and microchipped. She has had her first vaccination and is up to date with flea, tick, and worming treatments. She is a small sized girl, and currently weighs in at around 10kg.
Medical notes
Betty has been assessed and found to have bilateral luxating patellas.
A luxating patella occurs when the dog patella (kneecap), which normally sits on the groove of the femur (thighbone), shifts out of alignment. It can occur in one, or both, of the hind legs.
Betty's current recommendations are to continue to monitor this as she grows and gets older.
Sometimes a luxating patella condition can be treated with physical therapy and medication. However, surgery may be necessary if your dog's condition is severe and causes them significant pain.

We encourage meet and greets to allow adoptive families to be introduced to their prospective new family member.
We welcome interstate adoptions - Adoption travel arrangements are arranged by the adopting family, and we are always happy to help where we can!
If you are potentially enlisting a pet transport company to assist in getting your new pet over to you, I recommend checking out this link, which gives the names of some of Australia's pet transport companies. Specifically for our rescue, the pet transport company must be able to collect the pet from our location as we are currently unable to meet transport at any other locations. For your pets location please dont hesitate to reach out, as we have two location and enlist the support of foster families with our rescues.
