About Luna
Introducing Luna!
Luna is a 2 year old Staffy x who was surrendered in an emaciated condition as her owners couldn’t look after her anymore. She is now looking for her new furever home where she can get the love she has missed out on and very much desires.
Luna is a sweet girl who loves people! Luna gets so happy to see people, her tail is like a helicopter. This has caused her to have “happy tail” in smaller spaced areas. This means she wags her tail so much that where she hits it constantly on the walls she has made her tail bleed, which required it to be bandaged to prevent further damage, however in the end, her poor tail had to be amputated due to the tail due to the damage caused. For this reason, we would really like to get Luna out to her furever home as soon as possible.
Luna LOVES to play with, or just have the company of another dog. If you have another friendly dog already in the family, please remember to bring them along with you for a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along fine before heading home to live together.
Luna does not get along with cats or pocket pets, as she thinks it will be a fun game to chase them. For this reason, Luna will need very secure fences as she will jump or try to climb them if she sees something interesting on the other side.
Luna seems to be ok to be left alone and is showing no signs of anxiety. When you need to leave her home alone, she will happily chew on a bone or treat quietly on her bed.
If you think you could be the furever family Luna is searching for, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com to organise a meet and greet.
Luna’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Luna is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Luna is currently located in East Maitland.
Rehoming number: R251000019
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
