About Dino & Dusty
Dino and Dusty are a bonded pair of Australian Silky Terriers. They are littermates and have been together since they were born on or around 28 September 2018. We are offering them for rehoming together. Please don't ask us to separate them.
Typical silkies, Dino and Dusty are friendly, intelligent, spirited, and self-assured little dogs. Dino, the darker of the two, is the more dominant character, but Dusty isn't too far behind.
Very reluctantly surrendered by an elderly lady who with her husband had them from pups, they know a thing or two about being devoted companions to their human family. They are highly affectionate little lap dogs, accustomed to living inside and being with their family almost all the time.
They would do best in a home where they are the only dogs in residence, not because they aren't dog-friendly - they certainly are - but because they are simply used to being the focus of attention. They've lived successfully with dog-friendly cats.
They weigh 8 kgs each and are in good health. We've had them groomed and clipped and have just paid $1,300 for dentals, so their teeth are sparkling clean.
If you are interested in meeting these lovely dogs and can offer them a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Dusty & Dino's joint adoption fee is $1,950 and they are desexed, chipped and freshly vaccinated.
They are available for interstate adoption.
