About Colin
Meet Colin, the littlest cat on the block with the biggest personality! Like Colin Firth, this little gentleman is both regal and affectionate with a super soft spot for his closest friends and family.
From humans to fur critters, Colin just wants to be friends! A gentle and affectionate kid, he loves to curl up on anyone who'll have him and snuggle.
He looovvesss his food and enjoys every mouthful. Colin does have a sensitive tummy so he needs special food to ensure no tummy upsets and someone who will be gentle with him when he isn't feeling like his normal fantastic self.
Colin is very social and enjoys the company of other cats, encouraging them to play with him.
Colin is still very much a baby cat and still learning the ways of life. He will need to be an indoor cat and would do great with another kitty friend, or even a cat-friendly dog looking for a new little buddy.

*Adoption Process* If you are interested in this pet and ready to adopt now, please send in an application to the SCAR Adoption Team.
On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. As this pet has special needs, be sure you tell us why you are a great match for this particular pet.
The information you provide helps us to start a conversation about this pet, to find them a great home!
We aim to make sure that you fully understand your new pet's needs prior to committing to taking them home, so:
- For pets with specific medical needs, you will have the opportunity to discuss their requirements with a member of our vet team.
- For pets with specific behaviour needs, you will have the opportunity to chat with a member of our behaviour team and their foster carer.
We also provide ongoing post-adoption support to help you and your new pet develop a great relationship!
Please note the following:
We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals.
We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal.
All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet.
The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them.
Thank you!
