About Cooper
This precious boy requires a very special home with very special people. 6 foot fencing is a must, as he is very frightened of the outside world! Having been dumped as part of a litter, they had to fend for themselves for a long time, resulting in him being very nervous of people he doesn't know. He is extremely loving, and a real clown once he gets to know and trust you. But he is jumpy, and may always be jumpy, and if he did get on the outside of the fence, he may well just keep running. A home with quiet people with predictable lifestyles would be ideal plus another dog, as he is very very playful when he feels safe. He's not an easy dog at the start, but wow, is he worth the effort. Cooper weighs almost 20 kilos now that he is a healthy weight
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service?account=rc0442&method=online_form_html&formid=16
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we may arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The four week trial begins on the day of adoption.
We prefer payment by funds transfer or cash and don't accept personal cheques.
