Hi, I’m Basil and I’m looking for a family to call my own, could that be with you?!

Nature
I’m a super handsome, friendly kitty cat and I love bum boops and a good head scratch from my Foster Mum. I was a bit shy when I first came into foster care but with time I’ve learnt to chill quite nicely!

It did take me a few weeks to warm up to my new surroundings when I first came into foster care, so patience and understanding is essential from my new pawrents. Once I feel safe bump boops will be a common occurrence! 😹

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with two doggies and a few other kitties in my foster home, I love all the kitties but have not met the doggies face to face yet. My Foster Mum seems to think I’d be OK as long as the dogs are cat-savvy! My Foster Mum doesn’t know if I’ve ever met kiddies so maybe older ones would be best for me.

Likes / Dislikes
I now get fed wet food morning and night, what a treat that is getting regular meals served up on a platter!

My PURR-fect home would be one where you can allow me the time I need to adjust to my new surroundings, a spare bedroom to chill in initially would be pawesome and I’d love a furry pal as a bestie if you have one. I’d like to be safe inside with my family but a secure outdoor cat run would be pretty amazing!

Medical Notes: Basil was exposed to ringworm, a common fungal infection, and cat flu a respiratory infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
