Meet Barkley, our small sweetheart who has had a really rough start to life. Previous to arriving at the shelter he was in a backyard with little to no interaction with people but surrounded by canine companions. Due to this a home with a gentle dog companion would be super helpful to bring Barkley out of his timid shell.

Barkley can take quite an extensive time period to settle and trust his people, therefore a home without small children would be ideal as sudden movements, loud sounds and handling will cause him to hide and shiver ☹
