Hi I am Pedro, I arrived into care after I was saved from a regional pound. I was extremely, quiet and timid, but deep down I just wanted love.

I’m a good boy, but very much a cattle dog who would benefit from daily exercise and stimulation. I walk quite well on the lead! I can be quite excitable at first or when something exciting is around but generally settled and walk on a loose leash. Something I may need consistent reminding of my manners when on walks.

I am known as a Velcro dog, I just love to be near my humans. I can sometimes be a little shy when meeting new people but this never lasts long as I thrive on attention.

I’m living with no other dogs currently and cope with this well, I just need adequate socialisation opportunities. I previously lived with other dogs and had no issues.

I LOVE cats. Literally obsessed with them. I don’t try to hurt them but sometimes don’t realise how big I am and try to tackle them. I do have a high chase drive so if they run I do chase them.

I adore kids and I’ve been pretty good around them. I can sometimes still jump up when excited and definitely pushes the boundary with adults so probably better suited to older kids who aren’t as easily knocked over.

I can sit, lay down, paw, bed (for crate) and decent at ‘up’ and ‘down’ I will try and push the boundaries if I can get away with it.

I am crate trained and sleep in there all night, no issues.

Toileting is also good, no accidents inside.

I do have the slightest bit of food possession, so will need to be fed separately from any other dogs or animals in the home
