About Willow
Hi there I'm Willow.
Hold it a minute! Don't come too close too soon, we need to take our time getting to know each other.
My trust is a fragile thing. Go too fast and it will snap like a dry willow branch. Go slow and hopefully it will bend in your favour.
I'm a big fan of chicken, and may be amenable to the use of chicken flavoured paste treats to build positive interactions between the two of us.
I take time adjusting to new environments before I can then start to build a relationship with my new guardian.
Once you prove your trustworthiness I can be smoochy and will initiate head and chin rubs.
Don't you dare try to pick me up though! That is going to take A LOT more bonding.
My new owner will need to have experience in feline guardianship, and confidently be able to read my body language.
I require a quiet adult, teen home where I will have the opportunity to settle in a safe space of my own, build my confidence and thrive.
Staying inside will keep me safe, and as I love to intently watch birds through the window it will also keep them safe.
I have successfully lived with a young, friendly male cat. However I am prone to conflict with female cats and those not keen on sharing their space with other felines.
What can I say? I am type of torti, and you cant avoid a little tortitude :)
So, do you have the experience? Up for the challenge?
