Ryder will need a home without dogs or children and any potential adopters for him will need to be committed to ongoing training.

Ryder is a pedigree Pomeranian on a limited register and he's very small compared to a regular Pomeranian. He's a very sweet and loving little guy. he loves his 6 foster mums and they say he's like a little fluffy shadow, following them around the house to see what they are doing. He loves cuddles and being with his humans all the time. His favourite place to be is on your lap!

When new people come to my house I get a bit worried and can growl and bark, but when I realise that they are my human's friends I settle down (even quicker if they give me a little treat!!!!!).

Before I was fostered I spent most of my life outdoors, which means I'm finding it a little hard to work out where the toilet is. My new family will need to be patient with me and understand that I might have a few accidents in the house whilst I get used to my new surroundings.

I love to sleep on my humans' bed but I also don't mind sleeping in the laundry as long as I have my snuggly bed and water with me. I love baths and I don't mind being blow dried after. I'll also stay still for you whilst you give me a brush too!!!

Sometimes if you leave me outside alone it can be scary and I can hear lots of noises which make me bark. Sometimes I hear and see things in the house that make me growl and bark too. I like to use my voice a lot, but because I am so teeny tiny it's not very loud, and I am fine once I have a cuddle or am distracted with a toy. This is why a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of suburbia and the city is best for me.

My foster mums also say that I'm not very good with other animals and I can get a bit reactive, my new family will need to understand this and help me ignore other dogs.

I am adored by my foster mums. Even though I have some challenging behaviours, I am the cutest little guy with so much love to give to the right new family who can give me the nurturing that I need.

Please note Ryder does have some luxating patella's that do not require any vet intervention at this stage, however his new family will need to keep an eye on him and keep up with vet checks when needed.

Ryder's adoption fee includes an hour post adoption training session at Second Chance Animal Rescue with out trainer.
