About Julia
We have another sweetheart that is finally ready for her forever home…
Julia came to us a couple of months ago from a horrific neglected home.
She was discarded in the backyard for most of her life, living off scraps thrown to her like a wild animal.
The owner didn’t even know what sex she was! She was so badly matted that she couldn’t walk or could see from matts across her face. A family member finally took her to a vet for some treatment (major clip).
Once clipped the vets found a massive lump the size of a grapefruit hanging from her lower abdomen.
Lucky the vets that saw us, called and asked if we would take her?! Ahhh YES!!
In our care she has had the lump removed (hernia) was her uterus and she was desexed. After much needed recovery from that massive surgery Julia had a huge dental last week.
She does have dry eyes which means daily drops for the rest of her life.
Now we are looking for her perfect home.
This sweetheart has learnt to live inside and on the bed!🤭
Her foster mum can’t believe she is 10 as she has the personality and energy of a young dog.
Julia needs someone home a lot as she absolutely loves human interaction and company. She has waited so long for it, and finally she has it after 10 years of a SHIT life.
Foster mum says Julia has found her voice and doesn’t mind letting everyone know she’s alive!
Julia is on the Gold Coast.
Her adoption Fee is $590
Medical notes
Julia had a massive hernia removed that contained her uterus.
She had a dental with 3 teeth removed.
She does have dry eyes which means she needs drops daily for the rest of her life.
Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
