Some things my foster family says are great about me:

I’m fully house trained! Once you tell me where my exit outside is, if I want to do my business and you’re not directly at the door I’ll give you a little bark to let you know. How great am I!
I love my food so much, it’s a great way to get me to do tricks, and I’ll even wait real patiently until you tell me I can eat my food bowl.

I just love other dogs, I’m really friendly towards them too- The best part about foster has been spending time with my foster brother Frank though, so if you have another dog for me I’d sooo love that.

I’m a total cuddle bug! If I’m not eating or playing with frank, you bet I’ll be wanting a cuddle on the couch or in your bed. And when I cuddle, I mean business, I love to be all over you and wrap my paws around you.

One big thing I’ve been learning is how to sleep in my own bed at night, while it’s not as great as the human bed I’m definitely coming around.
I’m pretty good at being left by myself, I would prefer if you didn’t do it too often but I’ll occupy myself quite happily as long as there are some toys around.

While I am a certified good boy, I am still needing some guidance with my manners. I’m trying to work out how to politely ask for attention, I just get so excited that I can’t help myself sometimes. That being said, I will definitely need a new family that is comfortable setting some boundaries and are committed to ongoing training especially when it comes to walk times. I still pull quite strongly on the leash, I’ve been making great progress and will get better but I will need my forever family to be committed to helping me learn this.

I also will need continued training with my jumping and mouthiness, because of this I’m not sure I would be great with small children as I may knock them over or get too much in their faces. I just need a confident family who is able to distract me from wanting to nibble on hands and jump up, toys & diverting my attention usually does the trick!

Lastly, as I am a working dog breed, I LOVE my exercise, most importantly I love the ball. I need a family committed to exercising me at least twice daily, and someone who has a good ball throwing arm as there is nothing I love more than a ball on a walk. You’ll need to have an outdoor space for me to do my business, and preferably a garden I can run around in.

I’ve never met a cat, so I can’t say if I like them or don’t like them, I would lean towards maybe not a cat sibling right away. I have loved living with another dog, it would be great to have another dog sibling but not absolutely essential.

I’d love to join your family if you think you may be right for me, I’ll be able to promise you all the love in return and plenty of cuddles.
