Butterfly is a 40kg French princess! She is full of energy and loves to play. She is also super snuggly and loves a pat or a scratch under her forearms. Her rhythmic snore is quite pleasant when she drifts off for a nap.

Butterfly came into foster care after having too many pups and in pretty bad shape. She has some trust issues with new people and is a little shy at first. She had all her vet work and is now well on her way to recovery and the happy life she deserves.

She knows basic commands and sits and waits for her dinner politely. She is very trainable. She is learning to walk well on the lead but can get a little excited when she sees or hears other dogs. She most likely had never been for a walk before coming into foster care, so will require some ongoing training.

Butterfly has been sharing her foster home with 2 staffy mixes. They play well together and she loves her wrestling matches to get out her energy.

Butterfly is looking for an energetic family to give her lots of attention and/or another canine playmate. She will need lots of walks, toys and stimulation to keep her well behaved and happy.

Not cat tested.

Not kid tested but most likely would do well with older dog-savvy kids.
