Allie And Praline

These girls are a bonded pair by circumstance. 17 month old Allie (May 2021) was found on a farm in the country, the finder believes she was dumped there with her kittens. This super sweet shy dark tortoiseshell cat is desperate to love and trust. She's still very shy but will come out of her safe space to cuddle with her bestie Praline. 19 month old Praline (Feb 2021) a light grey tortoiseshell was found in suburbia with her kittens under her surrendering family's deck. Extremely shy and cautious she is learning to trust humans, maybe for the first time! As an aside I am happy to report both sets of kittens have now been placed in loving homes, hopefully very soon the same can be said for their young mothers.

These two will need an understanding and patient person/s in order to reveal the playful and loving animals they are. Their best feature is their gentleness. Even when new, scared and cornered they have NEVER even attempted to bite or scratch. I wonder how many humans can say the same? They love their toys; initially they didn't seem to know what they were but now you will find their toys scattered all over the place obviously privately partying! They love to be brushed and will lean into the brush and purr bonding both-ways.

They love their food enjoying a varied diet of raw meat, all types of canned fish and quality dried food. They also enjoy lactose free milk from time to time.

It is recommended these two go to a quiet home where they can own it and flourish. Their insecure start in life has left them with no desire to be outside in the scary outdoors - perfect indoor cats! Having each other to lean on means their owner can be away for extended periods of time during the day (say at work) without worrying their pets are lonely. They will suit any size residence as they have shown no inclination to roam.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
