About Elsa
Elsa came into care as a stray, with a skin infection that covered her entire body from the tips of her ears to the tips of her tail. She was so uncomfortable and needed a lot of TLC. Elsa was a dream taking her tablets and getting treatment baths. She actually purred because she loved the attention so much! Her skin has healed and she has been given the all clear by the vet, so it's time for her to find her forever home.
Elsa has the most beautiful green eyes, she looks at you so adoringly. She has a gorgeous blue coat, 4 white socks and a smudge on her nose. Elsa loves to play with her foster sisters and wrestles until they are worn out. She loves to recharge her batteries with a snooze on the bed or at the top of the cat tree. Else seeks out all the sunny spots to warm up on a chilly winter morning and will roll over for a tummy rub.
Elsa adores people and purrs as soon as you walk into the room. She can spend hours snuggled up on your lap watching TV and is very well behaved sleeping in a bed throughout the night. Elsa is perfectly toilet trained and has very good manners.
Elsa is great with kids and loves other cats. She'd love to go to a home with a friend to play with.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via the Jotform.
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
